The Tree House Club provides collections from local schools and a hot dinner for the children following their busy day in school. While we schedule time for and supervise homework that is not the focus of our club. Our main aim is to provide a quite relaxing space to rest followed by offering the children, alternative activities that provide a much-needed break from a long day of schoolwork.
Our Tree House Club has many great activities on offer including gardening, science, cooking, trips to the library, music and art. Each month the children decide on a theme that is of interest to them and we research it as a group.
We provide a school drop off service to local schools as an add on to our Afterschool Club, which includes breakfast and is available from 7:30 am.
Lorraine Clyne (BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care) is the Tree House Club room leader.
